September Ferret of the Month!
This month we have 3!! How could we choose just one when we had 3 beautiful ferrets nominated and all 3 were in a tie!?!?!?
#1) Sha-boo-boo came from the vet school in January 2008. He was a previous breeder at Marshall farms and was
neutered/descented by the vet students last Novemeber. He came in a group of 9; 5 stayed with me to be adoped and 4 went
to Diane. Sha-boo-boo is named for my very first ferret Sasha who passed away in Novemeber at the age of 8. He's the funniest
ferret ever! He's quite large and chunky since he's a late alter but is scared of everything. He will run and hide and then give the
best weasel war dance!!! He's also quite the poser - look at his beautiful eyeliner! Since Sha-boo-boo is our newest addition.
#2) Nate came to Laura & Eric while they were living in Tampa, FL post Katrina. He was so small when he came to
us that he couldn't even eat hard kibble yet! He only ate mom's chicken gravy. Now that he's all grown up he won't touch the
stuff! He's a pretty small boy and is also deaf - but he's a genius!! He knows how to completly scale the fencing and is our only
free roaming ferret. Here's to Nate "the great"! who loves to beg for TriFl Donations :)

#3) Hello! Please consider my boy, Angus McCracken (roll the "r" when you say McCracken), for a ferret of the month.
Angus is a big boy who loves to lay on his back and look adoring at his mom. He was found by some friends of some ferret
friends. My ferret friends asked me if Angus could live with me and I said absolutely. Angus is a mellow boy who enjoys the
company of my other 7 ferrets, but he is especially sweet on old lady Victoria (Angus likes cougars) and often snuggles with her.
I have no idea how old he is. He has lived with me for less than a year. - Donna Baker

October Ferret of the Month
If you would like to nominate your ferret for October,
please send a short bio and picture here!
Shelter Ferret of the Month
Triangle Ferret Lovers of North Carolina is proud to announce that we will be featuring one shelter ferret each month.
Our goal in promoting individual ferrets is to share their story with others in hopes that they are adopted out quicker.
The officers will choose the ferret of the month. That is best done by people who know the ferrets health and temperment.
Submissions can be made by local shelters if you would like but the officers will be the ones to choose which ferret makes it for that current month.
If you would like to submit a shelter ferret's photo, please click here. Please attach a picture of your fuzz butt as well as a short paragraph
about them in the email.
If you are interested in adopting any of the featured shelter ferrets, please email Pam Sessoms or visit our Adoptable's page.
Skipper & Vino!
Vino
Skipper
Skipper and Vino are a terrific pair of ferrets! They have already had a rough life with being adopted last year and returned due to their owners life's changes. They are both 3 years old and ready for a family to call their own. Skipper is a sweet boy who has a love of toes and huge ears which makes him look super cute! Vino is an albino by who loves to dig, dig, dig and has the greatest weasel war dance! Since they have been together for so long they must be adopted together. They get along well with other ferrets and cats and are just looking for a forever home to call their own, could that home be yours?
