September 13th Meeting Notes
- The Bi-Annual Club Yard Sale garnered about $335, partially
benefiting Rogues' Gallery.
- The Club is considering holding 6
monthly meetings and 4 quarterly socials, and no January or July
meetings. If you have any suggestions regarding where and when to
hold these socials, please contact Earl Anderson @ 403-1649.
- The Club Cookout was a lot of fun, with ferret owners from Wake,
Durham, Orange, and Nash Counties!
- Club Questionnaire results
(for those that sent them in): BENEFITS - education, adoption, care
of ill ferrets, referrals. FUTURE - education and training.
FUNCTIONS - Ferret/Pet Expo '98 (we need volunteers to assist
Leslie Dunn @ 217-8420). SUGGESTIONS - activities, education,
rabies law, increase membership and participation, better exhibits
and materials, poster campaign at pet stores, and advertising.
- Congratulations on the marriages of The Marsocci's and The
McCann's, plus Fred Richardson's engagement.
- Morris Animal
Foundation - Please help speed up the rabies shed study by sending
what you can and asking your vet, friends and local pet shops for
donations and send them to: Morris Animal Foundation/Ferret Shed
Study, 45 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, Colorado 80112-5480.
